Filled to the Brim

We are gushing here on this Valentine's Day. The Dude (now 16 months old as of the 10th... *gasp!*) continues to become more and more of a heart-breaker. He says things like "Ciao!" and "Luv you!" and is more than willing to lay a big 'ol wet one on ya if you ask for one.

The following are a few photos from the last couple of weeks that Mama finally downloaded.....

This next photo is one that Mama took after a double take... he pulled out that box that he is standing on, all on his own. He is getting very resourceful...



And here is an example of Penny's permanent post during eating time... we think that they have an unspoken agreement.

Ode to Puppy

Great Uncle Tom (great in the height sense, and also as in fantastic great) showed up at our door last weekend with a few surprises for Owen... one of which was this little brown dog. Now, The Dude has a special place in his heart for puppies - he has one of his own, it was the first animal sound he could mimic, and he can spot one a mile away - but this one he has fallen hard for.



Simply, he is called "Puppy". He MUST accompany Owen during all the important rituals of the day, particularly story time and sleeping time. Puppy gets a special hug and a little pat on the back before we turn out the light.
